In this latest installment of our behind-the-scenes look at Season 4 of the hit CW drama Wynonna Earp, we're diving into 'Making Your Peace,' an episode that will leave you gasping for breath. As usual, showrunner Emily Andeson gives us a sneak peek at what went down on set during filming.

We last left off in the Season 3 finale as Wynonna (Melissa Rae Eustace) faced off against her latest nemesis - or rather, an alternate version of herself. But don't worry folks, this isn't a time-traveling episode... yet.

In 'Making Your Peace,' our favorite Earp sister is back home in Purgatory trying to make amends for all the hell she's put everyone through lately (pun intended). However, peace is short-lived when an old foe returns from beyond the grave - literally speaking of course. It turns out that one particular demon managed to escape purgatory during last season’s climactic battle.

As Wynonna struggles to come terms with her past actions and figure out how exactly she's going to send this bad boy back where he belongs, we also get some much-needed closure on several storylines from previous episodes. I won't give away too many spoilers but let suffice it say that there are tears shed galore in this episode.

The cast themselves had mixed reactions when they first read the script for 'Making Your Peace.' According to Eustace: “It was emotional because we all knew what was coming up ahead.'

'I think Emily did a great job of balancing the darker moments with some really funny scenes too,' added fellow lead Rachael P. Smith, who plays Waverly Earp-Edgar.

The episode also features guest star Billy Zane reprising his role as The demon - now going by 'Barnabas.' “It was fun to play him again after so long,” said Zane in an exclusive interview with Syfy Wire earlier this month. 'He's such a complex character and there are definitely more surprises coming for fans of Wynonna Earp!'

So grab your guns, saddle up folks because things are about to get real messy on tonight’s all-new episode of Wynnona Earp - 'Making Your Peace' airs at 8pm ET/PT only on Syfy!
